FITGER’S PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

In 2017, Nordic removed and disposed of the existing pedestrian bridge, repaired existing support beams and concrete piers, and installed cast new concrete stair support on the ramp. Nordic fabricated, offsite, new 30-foot-long, 6-foot-wide bridge with all steel members and new railings to meet new code requirements as well as primed and painted. Once complete, the bridge was installed with a crane during night hours to not interfere with business activities.
